Los Prados de Santo Domingo (TBS) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American 199cm power forward DJ Laster, college: Gardner-Webb. He moved there from Stella Azzurra Roma in Italian Serie A2, but left the team in January. In 7 Serie B games he recorded 11.1ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.0apg and 1.1spg last season. Laster ended the last season at T71 Dudelange where in four Luxembourg games he averaged impressive 21.3ppg, 7.8rpg and 2.3apg. But the most of that year he spent at Vilpas in Finnish Korisliiga. In 25 games he had very remarkable stats: 16.2ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.4apg previous season. Laster helped them to make it to the cup final.
He graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2019 and it is his third season in pro basketball.
